Pulsenmore , a pioneering force in home-based ultrasound technology, has announced the expansion of its partnership with Clalit Health Services, Israel’s largest healthcare provider. This expanded agreement is set to bring 25,000 advanced home ultrasound devices to Clalit’s network over the next five years, significantly enhancing access to prenatal care for thousands of expectant mothers across Israel.

Increasing Access to Convenient, At-Home Ultrasound Services

Pulsenmore’s renewed agreement with Clalit introduces enhanced remote monitoring solutions for prenatal care. Under the new arrangement, Pulsenmore will provide devices that allow women to conduct ultrasounds from the comfort of their homes. The technology includes both app-guided asynchronous scans and a new synchronous function, enabling real-time video consultations with healthcare providers. This live feature allows medical professionals to monitor and guide patients during scans, offering a personalized experience that replicates in-clinic ultrasound sessions.

The integration of Pulsenmore’s technology supports Clalit’s commitment to making prenatal care accessible and flexible, reducing the need for frequent hospital visits and allowing healthcare providers to maintain high-quality care standards remotely.

Biophysical Profile (BPP) Functionality for High-Risk Pregnancies

In addition to standard ultrasound features, Clalit will also pilot Pulsenmore’s innovative Biophysical Profile (BPP) functionality as part of its service offerings. The BPP provides in-depth insights into fetal health, assessing parameters like fetal movement, heart rate, and amniotic fluid levels. For high-risk pregnancies, this functionality supports Clalit’s medical teams in making timely, informed clinical decisions, particularly beneficial in critical care situations where quick and accurate information is essential. The option to use Pulsenmore’s advanced device for BPP assessments underscores the device’s versatility and value in prenatal healthcare.

Smartphone-Connected Ultrasound Technology for Easy Monitoring

Pulsenmore’s home-based ultrasound device, designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, connects to a smartphone, empowering pregnant women to track essential fetal metrics such as heartbeat, movement, and amniotic fluid volume. After completing the scan, patients securely transmit the data to their healthcare providers for review. This innovative, mobile-connected technology makes prenatal care more accessible, especially for families in remote areas, enabling expectant mothers to stay closely connected to their healthcare teams without needing frequent in-person visits.

A Milestone for Pulsenmore and Future Growth

The expanded partnership marks another significant milestone for Pulsenmore, which has rapidly gained traction since its establishment in 2014. The company has achieved regulatory approvals in Israel and Europe and recently obtained clearances in Australia and Brazil. Pulsenmore reported a remarkable 79% growth in revenue during the first half of the year, with secured contractual revenue extending into 2025, further demonstrating its stability and growth. These achievements underscore Pulsenmore’s commitment to revolutionizing prenatal care and its capability to provide accessible healthcare solutions for families worldwide.

    Statements from Pulsenmore Leadership

Dr. Elazar Sonnenschein, Founder and CEO of Pulsenmore, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership’s potential impact on prenatal care: “Our strengthened partnership with Clalit reaffirms Pulsenmore’s role as a leader in remote prenatal healthcare solutions. Clalit’s trust in our innovative technology enables us to support flexible, patient-centered care for expectant mothers while advancing the future of prenatal health.”

Pulsenmore’s focus on the integration of telehealth and femtech makes it a standout in the healthcare industry. As the company continues to expand its global footprint, it remains dedicated to empowering families everywhere with reliable, accessible healthcare solutions through pioneering technology.
