Tüyap brings Plast Eurasia back for a 35th outing in Istanbul this December. Plastics machinery, raw materials and manufacturing technologies are to share a single venue, and ahead of opening the organisers are stepping up their recruitment of trade visitors from key European markets.
İstanbul – Plast Eurasia takes place 2-5 December 2026 at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul. The organiser is Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc., working in cooperation with PAGEV and backed by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade. Procurement professionals, distributors, raw material makers, technology suppliers and manufacturers will assemble there to forge trade ties spanning the whole plastics sector.
“For 35 years, Plast Eurasia supports the growth and development of the industry by bringing companies and professionals together and helping turn those connections into commercial relationships,” explained İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager at Tüyap Fairs Production Inc. “This year, we want to carry that experience forward by creating focused opportunities for buyers, suppliers and technology companies to meet around the needs of today’s plastics industry.”
Pace quickens in the drive for European visitors
Some 3 months ahead of the opening, 90% of stand space at the fair is already sold. Organisers expect a crowd of 80,000 local and international visitors, and their trade visitor drive targets Germany, Belgium and Greece, along with Romania, France, Italy and Poland, plus markets in North Africa and the Middle East.
Visiting European specialists will encounter equipment makers, materials firms and further plastics companies under a single roof in Istanbul this December. New business contacts form the purpose of the international visitor scheme, designed too as a means for companies to strengthen existing trade partnerships.
Equipment, raw materials and technology fill the programme
Plastic production machinery, plus raw materials and chemicals, stand as the fair’s two principal pillars. Also in scope are next-generation manufacturing technologies and machinery solutions, with efficiency, innovation and value-added production among the themes framing the commercial agenda.
Such a wide product range lets technical staff and purchasers review equipment, materials and manufacturing methods in one visit, as exhibitors showcase fresh products, technologies and sector solutions to an international audience.
Anniversary line-up revisits 35 years of transformation
The 35th-anniversary programme includes a Milestones Map, charting in date order the defining stages of the fair’s history together with shifts in the plastics industry. An exhibition of historic plastics production machinery is also staged, showing how manufacturing technology has changed across the decades.
At the opening ceremony, plaques will be presented to Kontel Elektronik, Enformak Plastik Teknolojileri and Almak Ateş Makine, three exhibitors whose attendance has run through the fair’s 35-year journey, honouring their enduring commitment.
The Stage is Yours! hands exhibitors 30-minute speaking slots for briefing visitors on technologies, value-added products, success stories and sector solutions.
Guided support on offer for hosted buyers
International purchasing delegations will move more efficiently between relevant product groups and exhibitors thanks to the Hosted Buyer Guided Tour programme. Participating buyers receive guided routes, tours of demonstration and event zones, access to the Hosted Buyer Lounge and tailored support services.
Turkish Airlines, Official Airline of Plast Eurasia, offers reductions on qualifying international return flights to Istanbul flown from 25 November through to 12 December 2026: 10% off Economy Class and 15% off Business Class.
