Michelle Le and Cameron Mitchell chose to stay together on Decision Day, and the reunion confirmed they are still married. But the where took a sharp turn. Portland and Seattle, the two cities the pair had discussed, were both ruled out. Instead, Cameron landed a coaching role at Cal State East Bay, as confirmed by Peacock, and the Bay Area became the plan.
‘I recently got a job in the Bay Area, a coaching job, and so I moved down,’ Cameron told Cosmopolitan in an exclusive interview. ‘Michelle is finishing up selling her condo and transferring her job down here, and she’s going to move in a couple weeks. So we’ve been doing long distance for the past month.’
A month apart hasn’t dented things. By the sound of it, these two were always going to find a way to make it work.
They Already Tied the Knot Again
Before the move, the couple made it official a second time. Last December, they signed their marriage papers at a rooftop venue in Seattle, with a handful of Michelle’s friends present. Low-key by design. ‘We didn’t really have a formal ceremony,’ Cameron said. ‘We just signed the papers with a couple of Michelle’s friends up at this cool rooftop in Seattle.’ A post-wedding celebration with Michelle’s family followed shortly after.
No grand venue, no big production. Just the two of them, and the people closest to Michelle, making it real.
Addressing the ‘Pot-Stirrer’ Label
The season wasn’t without its friction points. Cam and Michelle were often caught in the middle of other couples’ drama, and some fans branded them troublemakers for the input they offered. Michelle pushed back on that reading.
‘I think what [fans] might be missing is that all of the group sessions and the dinners and even the retreat, they were a time and place for us to share our opinions,’ she said. ‘All of the couples knew that, going into the process, we wanted to hear other people’s opinions because we were in an experiment.’
Cameron backed that up. ‘Cameron and I were probably more confident in being able to share feedback that everyone else was thinking because we were in such a solid relationship,’ Michelle added. As for where things stand with their fellow cast members now: ‘We’re all still good friends,’ she said. ‘It’s like everyone else is living in a glass house, right? Everyone was having these issues, and so no one wanted to throw stones.’
Family Planning and a Very Open Conversation
The biggest news from the interview is what comes next. ‘We’re trying to focus on family planning,’ Cameron said. ‘Michelle had a hysterectomy recently, so we’re looking into the surrogacy process here pretty soon, because we’re hoping to have a kid in the next couple years.’
According to Peacock, Michelle underwent the hysterectomy in May 2026 due to fibroid complications. Michelle herself has been open about the journey from the start, and she was direct about why.
‘Kids can make or break a lot of marriages, and so I wanted to be upfront with Cameron about that,’ she said. ‘I think infertility is a topic that isn’t really talked about enough, so I thought it was important that I was open about it.’
That honesty has clearly been central to how this pair operate. They walked into a televised experiment, stayed together, signed papers on a Seattle rooftop, relocated to San Francisco, and are now mapping out surrogacy. The next step, when they’re ready, is the one that matters most to them.
