The dust has settled on Love Island USA Season 8, and the reunion has now confirmed which couples made it out of the Villa intact and which ones didn’t survive the return to real life. Here’s a full rundown of where every pair stands.
Love Island USA Season 8 Couples Still Going Strong
Bryce and Trinity left the show as the winners, officially boyfriend and girlfriend, and they’re still very much together. After the Villa, they appeared on the TODAY show, where Trinity confirmed she’s staying in Los Angeles with Bryce. The pair also made their red carpet debut at the Variety Power of Young Hollywood event and have been doing press and creating content ever since. At the reunion, they were, by all accounts, mutually obsessed.
Dylan and Kenzie are also solid. Kenzie told Dylan on Aftersun she wanted to make things exclusive, then appeared on Call Her Daddy to reveal she plans to move to Los Angeles to be with him. Dylan made it official, posting on Instagram that he’d asked Kenzie to be his girlfriend. At the reunion, Kenzie confirmed she’s in love. Dylan said the same.
KC and Titi have kept things relatively low-key on social media, but the connection is clearly still there. Titi said on Aftersun, ‘I definitely know this is not the end of our story.’ They did a photo shoot together featuring a classic Chevrolet lowrider and hit the OC Fair in August with castmates. At the reunion, they confirmed they’re still in love and going strong.
Carl and Aniya are still together, despite a few nervy moments for fans when Carl didn’t attend the Variety Power of Young Hollywood event alongside Aniya. Carl told Andy Cohen they weren’t officially boyfriend and girlfriend yet at that point, but the reunion put those worries to bed. They’ve since enjoyed a trip to Nantucket together. Aniya had written on Instagram, ‘I truly cherish the connection I have with Carl,’ and it seems that hasn’t changed.
Zach and Kayda are in similar territory. Right after leaving the Villa, Zach posted a selfie captioned ‘My rock,’ which Kayda reposted. They confirmed at the reunion that they’re together, though not yet officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
Sincere and Melanie are dating but also not fully boyfriend and girlfriend just yet. Sincere told Complex in a July interview that they’re ‘still working on it’ and ‘rebuilding all of that trust from the foundation up.’ The reunion confirmed they’re dating and moving in that direction.
Love Island USA Season 8 Couples Who Didn’t Make It
Corbin and Parmida left the Villa as an exclusive couple and both posted warm tributes to each other on Instagram. Corbin wrote to Parmida that ‘it was really the universe that brought us together,’ while Parmida told fans she couldn’t wait to show America their connection. Then came the OC Fair, where they appeared with castmates including KC, Titi, and Gabriel, but kept their distance from each other. Neither included a photo of the other in their post-fair Instagram dumps. Corbin confirmed the split at the reunion. They remain friends.
Caleb and Jaiden are broken up. Caleb told Kaylor’s Crash Outs that he hadn’t seen Jaiden since being in Los Angeles, though they still text. He said, ‘Ever since getting back, we haven’t talked at all about what this is, or what we are, I think it’s kinda been assumed that we’re both just kinda living our lives.’ It has since been revealed that Jen was reportedly involved in their split.
Gabriel and Jen were never officially a couple. Gabriel was dumped from the Villa before things locked in between them, but Jen told Entertainment Tonight they had been in contact since leaving the show, describing him as ‘an amazing guy.’ At the reunion, they confirmed they’re just friends.
That’s the full picture as of the reunion. Several couples are official, a couple more are taking things steadily, and a few have already called it. The next few weeks will be the real test for those still in the ‘not quite boyfriend/girlfriend’ zone.
