You guys made it what it is, and we genuinely cannot thank you enough. We’re back filming season 2 right now and we cannot wait for you to see what’s coming. Trust us, it’s gonna be worth the wait.’
Hard to spin that as two people who cannot stand each other. The video dropped on the Off Campus account and was delivered with enough warmth to put the rumour mill well and truly to rest.
The speculation kicked off late last month when Cameli deleted or archived nearly all of his Instagram posts featuring Bright. Fans noticed, concern spread quickly, and the feud narrative took hold. What likely happened is considerably more mundane: a feed tidy. Cameli kept at least one video with Bright up, which rather undercuts the idea of any deliberate distancing. Cleaning up a grid to make it look less like a rolling press-tour archive is not exactly a red flag.
Bright had already given fans a fairly solid clue that things were fine. Speaking to People, she described Cameli as her best friend. ‘We have so much fun together. He’s the greatest. [We] met at the chemistry reads, we got each other’s numbers and we’ve just been friends ever since.’ That quote landed before the rumours surfaced and it still holds.

The renewal itself came through in February 2026, months before the first season had even premiered, which tells you something about the confidence behind the show. PureWow also confirmed that season 2 will adapt The Score, the third book in the Off-Campus series by Kennedy.
