Possibly Newcastle’s most conveniently located leisure centre, Eldon Leisure is based in the heart of the city centre.
Featuring over gym 100 stations we offer a fully comprehensive range of state of the art cardiovascular and resistance equipment. Or if you love working out in an instructor led environment why not try one of our fitness classes? With over 50 classes per week ranging from indoor cycling to martial arts, aerobics to pilates; there really is something for everybody. We like to cater for everybody of all ages and abilities; for the young ones we offer a range of FREE ‘Fusion’ activities and as well as a host of children’s parties including football, climbing and multi-activities.
For the older generations we host tea dances and dedicated keep fit classes. We also provide health rehabilitation, weight management and exercise referral programmes to assist with getting you into a more active lifestyle.
We are dedicated to providing the best facilities and support to the numerous teams that base themselves at Eldon Leisure including various longstanding badminton, squash and bowls teams. So if you are looking to join an existing team or even for somewhere new to base your team, we are the place to come.
At Eldon Leisure we are lucky enough to house the North East’s largest ‘Bouldering’ climbing wall. In conjunction with our sponsors Berghaus we offer progressive courses, training and casual climbing activities for all ages and abilities.

Eldon Leisure is not just a sporting facility, we also offer various meeting and training facilities available for hire at very reasonable prices, with excellent conferencing equipment accompanied by an array of audiovisual technology.
