East End Pool

At East End Pool there are three pools including a toddler pool with a bubble machine, studio pool and the main leisure pool with a wave machine and fountains. The leisure pool also has two 50m flumes a sauna and steam room.

The East End pool also has the latest in fitness with a modern dance studio which has a range of activities from pilates to aerobic classes and the Impulse gym which has the latest in fitness equipment and is staffed with fully qualified instructors.

Afterwards you can relax in one of the two cafes or explore the library which is situated within the building.

Swimming Lessons: Lessons are available for all ages from Baby to Adult. We offer a variety of days and times for all levels and abilities. Please contact reception for details and availability.

This centre is closed on Public Holidays.

Metro: Byker Metro station approx 100m.

Bus: Buses regularly stopping on Shields Road approx 150m are 1,2,12,39,40,63.

Parking: We have 5 disabled car park bays and 95 free car park bays.

Please note: With effect from 1st November 2012, parking charges of 20p per hour will be in force at East End Pool, (the first 3 hours are free) for further details of times and charges please refer to the display boards in the car park near to the meters.
