Jesmond Pool

Jesmond Pool is a community managed building, offering a full range of sporting and physical activities for everyone.

An award winning social enterprise, operating as a charity, we not only offer a full range of water related activities, but also a fitness suite, a multi purpose dance and activity room, and poolside sauna and steam.

Water activities include lane swimming, children’s and adult lessons, competitive swimming, parent and tot classes, parties, aquafit and chillout sessions. Dry activities are numerous, and change regularly, but offer a full range including spinning classes, ‘Bums, Legs and Tums’, yoga, pilates, dancing, circuits and many more.

The fitness suite is open to subscribers and casual use, and offers long opening hours, and classes for older people, teenagers and GP referrals. We also run activities outside the building, such as Jesmond Joggers.
