Membership offers you access to eleven state of the art fitness suites, five swimming pools and over 100 fitness classes every week across Newcastle upon Tyne.
Bus: The nearest bus stop is outside the Heaton Road entrance to the park. Coast Road buses operate very frequently the nearest bus stop being the Corner House Public House.Parking: There is also a fee paying parking area in Heaton Park off Jesmond Vale Lane.Metro: The nearest metro station is in Byker approximately 1.5km south of the park.
Armstrong Park is situated in the northeast area of Newcastle approximately 2km from the City Centre and provides a pleasant green corridor between Jesmond Dene and Heaton Park. The main entrances are off Heaton Road and Armstrong Bridge.
There is a bowling green with pavilion which has an active membership. There are also tennis and basketball courts and an informal football area with permanent five-a-side goal posts.
Armstrong Park is also the location of the famous Shoe Tree. We won’t tell you where it is though, finding it yourself is part of the fun!
