Gosforth Central Park is located between the High Street and Moor Road North, behind the shopping centre.

It is a popular park and provides quiet relief for those needing a break from the hustle and bustle of suburban life, with its attractive avenues of lime trees, ornamental flower and rose beds, and large areas of grass lawns.

There are two bowling greens with a women’s and a men’s club, and there are also two tennis courts and a basketball court.
