Newcastle Primary Care Trust

Newcastle PCT is responsible for commissioning and providing health care services for the city’s 271,000 residents.

We make sure that people can access services such as GPs, district nursing, hospital treatment, mental health services, screening programmes, dentists, pharmacists and opticians.

Our main service providers are Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Trust and North East Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
