Goalball is a Paralympic sport played by the visually impaired or blind.
It is a sport similar to football and dodge ball but unlike anything you may have played before.
Anyone and everyone can play as you're just given a blindfold. It's played in teams of 3/4 with the aim to defend your goal and score in the opposition's. You play on the ground and with balls with bells in - so you use your other senses to detect the ball.
Come and give it a go - it's great fun!
This session is FREE and for anyone aged 12 - 18.
Benfield Centre for Sporting Excellence opened in 2001 and is a dual use sports facility.
