At Elswick Harriers we are proud of our tradition, being the oldest established club in the North East, founded in 1889.

Over the years we have discovered many successful athletes including three Olympians: Mike Mcleod, Alan Lillington and Alex Burns.

We also pride ourselves on being a friendly club and welcome people of all ages and abilities.

If you are thinking about getting into running or if you are an established runner but have not joined a club, why not come along to one of our training nights where you will be given a warm welcome.
