Durham Visually Impaired Cricket Club

We are the only visually-impaired (VI) cricket team in the North East and are for anyone aged 11+ who is visually impaired.

No previous cricket experience is needed, all equipment is provided, and we have players from all over the North East.

We play Blind Cricket – a specially adapted form of the game which is accessible to players with all degrees of sight loss.

Most of our training and matches take place in Chester-le-Street and Darlington.

In 2012 we are entering a new Northern League, and two national knock-out cup competitions.

Beginners welcome.

Training sessions are from mid-January, and fixtures from April to September.

We play at various locations – Chester-le-Street, Darlington, Washington, and travel to away matches.

Membership fee is £20 per year. For away trips a contribution my be required.

Please get in touch if you require any further info.
