Sequence Dancing is a form of dancing for enthusiasts of all abilities and ages.
Modern sequence dancing repeats the steps at every sixteenth bar – in other words the ‘sequence’ is started at the first bar of music and is completed at the end of the 16th bar.
From then on, it’s just a matter of practice until you have the routine, called a ‘sequence’, safely fixed in your mind.
Sequence Dancing can be done to slow or quick music, it doesn’t usually take long to pick up a sequence, and with the same routines being done by everyone they become easy and enjoyable quickly.
