Badminton is one of the most popular racket sports in the UK.
It is played by either two opposing players in singles matches or two opposing pairs in doubles games.
Side takes positions on opposite halves of a rectangular court that is divided by a net. Players hit a feathered shuttlecock with the aim of landing it in the opponent’s side without it being returned by their opponent.
Badminton can be played at all levels and by all age groups and involves skill, agility, and fast reflexes.
Badminton provides a range of all-round fitness benefits including strengthening legs, arms, and wrists and improving the back, and shoulders.
