Spinning

Spinning is a studio based group cycle exercise class using specially designed stationary bicycle that can be easily adjusted to fit you. You control the intensity of the exercise with a tension knob below the handlebars and you determine your own levels of exertion.

The benefit of training with other people is that their enthusiasm can help you to achieve more and be better motivated than if you trained by yourself.

A typical spinning class involves a single instructor at the front who leads the class through a series of routines. They will use music (sometimes video), motivation and encouragement to lead you through the session which begins with a warm up, followed by seated and standing exercises that work the muscles and joints in the legs and buttocks making spinning a great class for working those traditional problem areas.

It is recommended to bring plenty of water. Spinning can be very energetic and you are likely to get very hot and dehydrated.
